- - Fasting - -

I've been fasting for 3 days since this Tuesday. Today is my last day to fast. Hmm I'm not too sure what's the purpose of the fasting in detail. But, according to the pastor, it is so that more people can be saved and trust more in GOD. I never fast before. At first I thought why I don't give it a shot. Anyway,I just have to do a little sacrifice for the benefit of many people.

In my opinion, fasting is not an easy task, especially for a person like me who never did it before. However, I learned and experienced lots of things through the fasting. I learned about self restrain which I think is a good thing. In addition, patience, which I have to wait till 6p.m to break the fast =P. I hope GOD is pleased with my fasting...hmmm...Anyway, I guessed I still need to learn more about God hmmm...

Currently, I'm reading a book written by Joshua Harris "I Kissed Dating Goodbye". It's a religion stuff book. I think it's a good book because it enlightened me in a certain areas where I've got lots of questions. In the book, he explained that we often makes lots of mistakes in dating by expecting and wanting everything for all the wrong reasons. He added that we should remain pure in all our relationship and make sure we committed into it.

What I like most about the book is that he mentioned about being single. He said that we should view singleness as a blessing to gain more knowledge, improve ourselves and of course make ourselves closer to God. He also added, what the singles have to do is to be patient. PATIENCE is the key word!! God wants us to wait patiently and just trust in Him! Anyway, the book is very useful =). I can go on and on telling you guys about the book..but it will be much better for you to read the book by yourselves =).

Yup...I think I'm being much patient now. I don't want to rush things because I believed He's in the process of creating that special someone just for me ;-). Remember guys, singleness is a blessing!!!
